Cross Country Schooling
We pride ourselves in the quality of our cross - country facility, it is set in 45
acres of naturally undulating grassland that lends itself perfectly for the job.
Professionally designed from scratch in year 2000, we now have a comprehensive selection
of obstacles that will consist in the order of 150+ jumping efforts that range from
approximately 1' 6" to 3' 3" in height to suit a wide range of abilities, they include
ditches, banks, drops, accuracy fences including corners and skinny roll-tops. We
use a wide variety of natural logs as well as manufactured mobiles and not forgetting
the all important water complex. All are constructed by ourselves to the highest
standard. We are always developing the course replacing or adding new jumps.
The land is of good quality loamy soil and is fully drained, and the majority of
jumps have all weather takeoffs and landings to extend the season as well as maintaining
consistency throughout the season. Our maintenance program includes topping when
necessary usually every 2/3 weeks, strimming around the jumps and painting/preserving
the jumps.
The course is open daily for schooling, weather permitting, except for competition
days throughout the season which usually starts late March/early April depending
on ground conditions and runs through into October. Please note booking is essential.
For booking details see our FACILITY HIRE page and read our TERMS and CONDITIONS
for hire.
See our galleries below for pictures of some of our typical jumps but please be aware
that these may not still exist and as time progresses our jumps will change but the
pictures will still be representative of what we offer..
