About Us
Smallwood Equestrian Centre is situated in Brookhouse Green, a typical country hamlet
within the village of Smallwood in rural Cheshire, consisting of quiet country lanes
and high quality farmland, and with a location that is within easy reach of Manchester,
and its surrounding business area has made Smallwood a very desirable place to live.
The location also makes an ideal equestrian centre, we are within 5 miles of four
towns, Sandbach, Congleton, Holmes Chapel and Alsager, and within 10 miles of Knutsford,
Crewe, Stoke on Trent and Macclesfield. and accessed via two major A- roads the A50
running north-south and the A534 running east-west, plus junction 17 of the M6 Motorway
only 3 miles away makes us extremely accessible from the whole of the Midlands and
Northwest regions.
Owned and run by Ian and Sarah Morris, we run an excellent Cross Country facility
specialising in the smaller sizes up to 90cm built to the highest quality. We host
competitions run by Pony Clubs and Riding Clubs.
We produce the some of the finest haylage from either Italian Ryegrass varieties
or traditional meadow grasses.
We are also home to Gaby Kerfoot Equine Physiotherapy Centre.
